daikin-japan-oil-hydraulics-indian-distributor STAMP
The full-line of precision cleaning products features IPC’s flagship cleaner, Micro-90® Concentrated Cleaning Solution. The line also includes biodegradable, alkaline, acidic, neutral, and enzyme cleaning products for a broad range of industries and applications. These products are effective in cleaning labware, RO and UF filter membranes, mixing tanks, processing lines and equipment, medical devices, pharmaceutical equipment, electronics, and many other precision parts. All are registered with NSF as category A1 cleaners.

P-80® Temporary Rubber Lubricants are uniquely formulated products for the assembly of rubber and soft plastic parts (such as belts, bushings, grips, grommets, hoses, o-rings, and seals) for the automotive, agricultural, appliance, aerospace, marine, pump, tool, and other industries.

IPC is committed to manufacturing products that are water-based and designed to replace solvent and petroleum based cleaners and lubricants. Their state-of-the-art manufacturing, packaging, and warehousing facility is equipped with an on-site laboratory for analytical work and consultation on assembly and cleaning processes.

IPC avoids the use of solvents, phosphates, silicates, borates, halogenated compounds, phenols, and SVHC (substances of very high concern). In addition, IPC maintains a ZERO discharge policy; this includes wastewater, emissions, and hazardous waste. Plus none of the products are considered toxic or corrosive.

All of IPC’s products are Made in the U.S.A. in their ISO-Certified facility and are readily available through their network of global distributors. Free samples and technical assistance, including validation methods, are available.

1. What are the benefits of using P-80 lubricants?

P-80 reduces the force needed for installation by providing temporary lubrication. This reduced friction helps to achieve closer fits, reduce damage to parts, prevent slippage-related injuries, and provide for a quicker, easier assembly process. Once dry, P-80 will not become slippery again, even in the presence of moisture.

2. Which P-80 lubricant should I use?

All P-80 products provide temporary, water-based lubrication. Deciding which P-80 product to use depends on your  application and preference. P-80 Emulsion and P-80 THIX provide a higher degree of lubricity than P-80 Grip-It, and lubricate for a longer period of time. P-80 Grip-It stays slippery for a shorter period of time and leaves parts slightly tacky, which helps them to remain in place. This Comparison Chart provides information about the properties of each lubricant. Or feel free to contact us to discuss the details of your application.

3. Are P-80 products safe?

P-80 lubricants are non-hazardous, non-flammable, non-toxic, and contain near-zero VOCs. P-80 products are water-based, and do not contain mineral oil, alcohol, or petroleum distillates, which have all been shown to degrade rubber. P-80 lubricants are compatible with all types of elastomer and most plastics and metals. Compatibility studies are available on the Technical Documents page of this website.

4. How long does it take for P-80 products to dry?

P-80 Emulsion and P-80 THIX may take between an hour and a day or two to completely dry. P-80 Grip-It will dry in about twenty minutes. The amount of lubricant used, humidity in the air, airflow around the part, and the porosity of the surface will effect the drying time.

5. Can P-80 Lubricants be used on food processing machinery?

Yes. P-80 Emulsion IFC and P-80 THIX IFC are registered with NSF as category H1, and meet FDA regulation 21 CFR 178.3570, which controls lubricants in contact with food surfaces.

6. What is the chemical make-up of P-80 lubricants?

All P-80 products are water-based and non-hazardous. P-80 Emulsion, P-80 THIX, P-80 Emulsion IFC and P-80 THIX IFC are oil-in-water emulsions. P-80 Grip-It is a surfactant and polymer mixture. Specific ingredients are protected under New Jersey trade secrets.

7. Do P-80 lubricants meet RoHS standards?

Yes. All products manufactured by IPC are free from all the ingredients listed in 2002/95/EC.

Features

P-80® Emulsion Temporary Assembly Lubricant is a biodegradable assembly aide that eases installation of tight-fitting rubber and plastic parts by reducing the force needed for insertion. Once assembly is complete, the lubricant dries and the part returns to its original condition. P-80 Temporary Assembly Lubricants can be applied manually or automatically, by dip, brush, or spray techniques.

P-80 Emulsion Temporary Assembly Lubricant is used to install hoses, o-rings, seals, bushings, gaskets, grommets, grips, and many other rubber and plastic parts. Use P-80 Emulsion when a thin film of lubricant is desired.

Typical viscosity of P-80 Emulsion: 110 cps at 25° C

Features

P-80® Emulsion for Incidental Food Contact (IFC) is a biodegradable temporary assembly lubricant that eases installation of tight-fitting rubber and plastic parts by reducing the force needed for assembly. Once assembly is complete, the lubricant dries and the part returns to its original condition. P-80 Emulsion IFC can be applied manually or automatically, by dip, brush, or spray techniques. Use P-80 Emulsion IFC in incidental food contact applications when a thin film of lubricant is desired.

P-80 Emulsion IFC Temporary Assembly Lubricant is used to install pump seals, hoses, o-rings, bushings, gaskets, grommets, grips, and many other rubber and plastic parts.

P-80 Emulsion IFC meets FDA regulation 21 CFR 178.3570 and is NSF-Registered as an H1 lubricant.

Typical viscosity of P-80 Emulsion IFC: 120 cps at 25° C

Features

P-80® THIX Temporary Assembly Lubricant gel is a biodegradable assembly aide that eases installation of tight-fitting rubber and plastic parts by reducing the force needed for insertion. Once assembly is complete, the lubricant dries and the part returns to its original condition. P-80 THIX is especially useful in overhead and vertical assembly operations because it remains where it is applied without dripping. P-80 THIX thins out under pressure so it can be used in automated systems or applied manually by dip, brush, or spray techniques.

P-80 THIX Temporary Assembly Lubricant is used to install hoses, o-rings, seals, bushings, gaskets, grommets, grips, and many other rubber and plastic parts. Use P-80 THIX when a thick coating of lubricant is needed, when it is important that the lubricant stay where it is applied, and/or when a prolonged drying time is desired.

Typical viscosity: 7,500 cps at 25° C

Features

P-80® RediLube Temporary Rubber Lubricant is a biodegradable assembly aide that eases installation of tight-fitting rubber and plastic parts by reducing the force needed for insertion. P-80 RediLube dries quickly and completely.

P-80 RediLube is ideal for use on non-porous and coated rubber parts. Typical applications include installation of seals, o-rings, hoses, bushings, grommets, tires, and grips. Excellent for use on sub-assembled parts.

Typical viscosity of P-80 RediLube: 20 cps at 25° C

Features

P-80® Grip-it Quick-drying Temporary Assembly Lubricant eases installation of tight-fitting rubber and plastic parts by reducing the force needed for assembly. Once assembly is complete, P-80 Grip-it dries and provides resistance that helps keeps parts in place. P-80 Grip-it can be applied manually or automatically, by dip, brush, or spray techniques.

P-80 Grip-it is ideal for insertion of hoses that are pressure-tested immediately after assembly, and in any application that requires a fast-drying lubricant. Typical uses include installation of hoses, grips, o-rings, seals, bushings, gaskets, grommets, and many other rubber and plastic parts.
