3M™ VHB™ Tape 4991 offers a fast, easy-to-use permanent bonding method with high strength and long-term durability. Its gray, 0.090 in (2.3 mm) thickness, multi-purpose acrylic adhesive with a conformable foam core can replace mechanical fasteners like rivets, welds, and screws, as well as liquid adhesives. The tape provides virtually invisible fastening to keep surfaces smooth, and  design flexibility due to its viscoelasticity. It adheres strongly to a variety of surfaces like aluminum, stainless steel, plastics, wood, and concrete that makes it suitable for various industries like transportation, appliance, electronics, construction, and more.
