3M™ VHB™ Tape 4959 offers a fast, easy-to-use permanent bonding method with high strength and long-term durability. With its white, 0.120 in (3.0 mm) thickness, general-purpose acrylic adhesive, and firm foam core, it can replace mechanical fasteners like rivets, welds, and screws, as well as liquid adhesives. The tape provides virtually invisible fastening to keep surfaces smooth and design flexibility due to its viscoelasticity. It adheres strongly to a variety of surfaces like metals, glass, and other high surface energy materials that make it suitable for various industries like transportation, appliance, electronics, construction, and more.

As part of the 4950 family of 3M™ VHB™ Tapes, it is designed for applications such as stiffener bonding, sealing polycarbonate lens over LCD, and mounting wiring ducts and conduit channels. 3M™ VHB™ Tape 4959 provides extreme bonding power and reliability for a wide range of industrial applications.
