The 3M™ VHB™ Tape 4956F is a fast, easy to use permanent bonding Tape with high strength and long term durability. With its gray color and 0.062 in (1.6 mm) thickness, it features a multi purpose acrylic adhesive with a conformable foam core. This tape is designed to replace the mechanical fasteners like rivets, welds, and screws, as well as liquid adhesives that provide virtually invisible fastening to keeps surfaces smooth.

The tape consists of a durable acrylic adhesive with viscoelastic properties that provides a strong double sided bonding that adheres to a broad range of substrates like metals, plastics, wood and concrete. It provides excellent shear strength, conformability, surface adhesion and temperature resistance to make it suitable for various applications in transportation, appliance, electronics, construction, sign and display, and general industrial sectors.
