3M™ VHB™ Tape 4951
The 3M™ VHB™ Tape 4951 offers a fast, easy-to-use permanent bonding method with high strength and long-term durability. With its white color and 0.045 in (1.1 mm) thickness, it features a low temperature applicable adhesive on both sides of a firm acrylic foam core. This tape can replace mechanical fasteners like rivets, welds, and screws, as well as liquid adhesives, providing virtually invisible fastening that keeps surfaces smooth, making it ideal for transparent applications.
Part of the 4951 family of 3M™ VHB™ Tapes, the 4951 tape utilizes a low temperature applicable adhesive that can be bonded down to 32°F (0°C). It utilizes a firm foam and can be used on a variety of substrates including metals, glass, and high surface energy paints and plastics. Applications for this tape include stiffener, panel, decorative material, and trim attachment.
