3M™ VHB™ Tape 4929
3M™ VHB™ Tape 4929 is a fast and easy to use permanent bonding method that provides high strength and long term durability. This is black, 0.025 in (0.6 mm) thin general purpose acrylic adhesive tape with features a firm foam core. It can replace mechanical fasteners such as rivets, welds and screws. The virtually invisible fastening keeps surfaces smooth and provide the design flexibility due to its viscoelasticity and powerful bonding ability. Ideal for a broad range of high surface energy (HSE) substrates including aluminum, stainless steel, galvanized steel, composites, acrylic, polycarbonate and painted or sealed wood and concrete. This tape provides excellent shear strength, surface adhesion, durability and temperature resistance. Applications include stiffener bonding, panel and trim attachment.
