3M™ Thermal Transfer Polyester Label Material 7879FL is a durable silver polyester label designed for demanding applications. Its topcoat offers the advantages of matte coating with a smooth surface for thermal transfer printing. The 3M™ High Performance Acrylic Adhesive 350 permanently bonds to high and low surface energy plastics, textured surfaces, powder coatings and slightly oily metals. Its provide chemical resistance and holding strength even at high temperatures. The polyester liner allows for improved die cutting, enabling deeper cuts without exposing fibers. This material is ideal for barcode labels, rating plates, nameplates and durable items to provide thermal stability and moisture resistance across substrates.
