3M™ Double Coated Tape GPT-020F is a transparent, 200 micron (8 mil) thick adhesive tape featuring a clear polyester carrier and delivered on a BOPP film liner. It employs a modified solventless acrylic adhesive that ensures high peel and shear performance, facilitating strong adhesion to a wide range of substrates, including both high and some low surface energy materials. With its high initial tack and humidity resistance, this tape offers ease of handling and converting during application. It provides exceptional temperature resistance, withstanding up to 375°F (190°C) with 500g/1”x1” and up to 320°F (160°C) with 1000g/1”x1” per SAFT, PSTC 17. Offering versatility with purpose, it enables bonding to a diverse array of substrates, from high to low surface energy, making it a reliable choice for various applications.
